Our History
Chartered in 1939, our chapter maintains over 185 members annually. FFA members may
choose to participate in the Fall, by training for a Leadership Development Event.
LDE's that we offer are:
  • Creed Speaking
  • Spanish Creed
  • Radio Broadcasting
  • Greenhand & Senior Quiz
  • Job Interview

In the Spring we compete in Career Development Events:

  •  Milk Quality
  • Vet Tech
  • Floriculture
  • Poultry
  • Horse
  • Food Science
  • Entomology
  • Farm Business Management

Many members of our program participate in a Supervised Agriculture Experience or SAE. project. Raising animal projects is not a requirement, but is an excellent way to develop responsibility, a solid character, build on a college fund and have fun along the way.

Throughout our long history we have won numerous State Championships including Back to Back Ag Mechanic State Championships i
n 1977-1978. In the 2021-2022 school year our Milk Quality Production team advanced to state.
We continuously advance to State Contests, have success at Livestock Auctions and make our Leadership skills present at the State Level with 3 State Officers in our history including David Reiley and most recently in 2013-2014 Shelby Eckhardt. We will continue to strive for excellence and prepare our FFA Students for their futures.
Please feel free to look around the Ag Building during FFA Meetings or when an Ag Teacher is around to see our walls of banners, plaques, trophies, and look through our history of scrapbooks.
